This is one of the major reasons I never want to live with a dog. I did once before and it drove me absolutely insane…

It’s also one of the major reasons I’m still single… Every girl I’ve ever read the profile for on dating sites wants a dog so much it reads more like a need. :(

Some dogs bark a lot more than others though. My mom’s dog mostly only barks when she’s excited about someone she knows coming to the house. So she barks when we come to visit, but she stops once we go inside and doesn’t bark again the entire time we’re there.
