A UFO that may have a UTI

That would explain a lot in Nope

Mookulator , in Earlier this year, this lenticular cloud appeared over Turkey.

Looks like there’s a mountain next to it. Standing lenticular clouds often form over mountains. This one appears particularly prominent though!

Leafstalker , in Earlier this year, this lenticular cloud appeared over Turkey.

Suddenly, I have a craving for a Cinnabon.

Kodemystic ,
@Kodemystic@lemmy.kodemystic.dev avatar

Yep got it! Thanks =)

Kodemystic , in Ghost apples
@Kodemystic@lemmy.kodemystic.dev avatar

Neat! How come there are apples growing in winter? Or maybe it was an apple that grew before winter, no one picked it up, also it did not fall, so winter comes and voilá?

Late Harvest meets early ice storm

NOPE 2

God I hope so

metallic_substance , in The Rainbow Mountains of China

Why did you post a screenshot of search results instead of just picking a good one and posting that?

linearchaos OP ,
@linearchaos@lemmy.world avatar

Actual link I provided in the body shows one perspective of shots. Overall is single image of them could be modified or blurred the same reason I posted the results from the cloud. What’s something looks that unreal I usually look for multiple sources.

Perhaps I’m overthinking it. Living forward I’ll just post single source images.

metallic_substance ,

No worries. I was just curious

redhydride , in The Crooked Forest

Fascinating! Thank you

Croutons , in The Rainbow Mountains of China

All of those photos have filters etc. Beautiful rock formation, but they do not look like that. Maybe they would be half that vibrant if they are wet while the sun is out like a sun shower or something.

Tassereine , in The Crooked Forest

No matter how many times I see this phenomenon it always tickles my brain.

ArbiterXero , in The Crooked Forest

What in the whoville is that?

MarioSpeedWagon , in The Crooked Forest

Is this where Home Depot gets their 2x4’s ?

linearchaos OP ,
@linearchaos@lemmy.world avatar

Some of their better ones :)

gornar ,
@gornar@lemmy.world avatar

Yeah we’d be lucky to have ones as straight as these! I wind up just going to Rona, even if they’re weird there (Canada)

linearchaos OP ,
@linearchaos@lemmy.world avatar

Heh I’ll take things named Rona that didn’t change their name in 2020 for 500 Alex.

I wonder if Home Depot’s issue is one of individual throughput. When you have a skid coming into a jobsite, you end up with the occasional wonky board here and there but no one is picking them out. That pile inside contains the rejects from full skids since who knows how long. Because they sell so much, They have a larger pile of misshapen boards.

gornar ,
@gornar@lemmy.world avatar

I bet you that’s what it is, just the filtered board detritus after contractors get their pick

Azzu , in "Blood falls" in Antarctica. This water contains ferrous iron, which, combining with atmospheric air, oxidizes and forms rust. It gives the waterfall that blood-red colour

I’d like to see non-ferrous iron? lol

linearchaos OP ,
@linearchaos@lemmy.world avatar

Hey, if i’m going to copy it from reddit, I’m a take 'da WHOLE MONTY

But then I put more info and links in the description, so i could have fixed it.

I shall submit myself to the wheel of shame.

Azzu ,

You can leave it for the memes of course, but titles are editable on Lemmy if you didn’t know :)

linearchaos OP ,
@linearchaos@lemmy.world avatar

adding insult to unjury, it was aparently posted there like 4 times in three years, all the others had less AI looking titles
