asterzura , in 1,500-year-old Ceramic Maya Figurine with Removable Helmet, from El Perú-Waka', Petén, Guatemala

It’s awesome both pieces - especially the helmet - remained together and intact.

If you’ve ever read the ramblings of Von Däniken you can’t help but think it’s a cosmonaut.

How crazy is that

BigPapaE , in Customer brought in a 1934 thousand dollar bill. After ten years in banking finally got to see one in person.

A quick Google search says:

“Most 1934 series and 1934A series $1,000 notes are worth around $2,125 in very fine condition”

LemmyFeed ,

I’d say it’s fair condition so best I can do is $50

styx ,

$75, and last offer.

Drusas , in 700lbs pumpkin growing, gaining almost 50 lbs a day

I wonder how much water this needs per day.

linearchaos OP ,

Probably very close to 50 lbs

Drusas ,

😂 Fair point. I was thinking volume, but I can look that up.

If anyone wants to check it in a map software or site, the coords are -33.867865, -63.988014. I got this info from a blog entry written by one of Pedro and Graciela’s children (Graciela was the above mentioned late wife.) It’s ~300km to the south of Córdoba city, same province.

That's over $22000 in today's money https://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl

They seem to sell for around $2000-5000 on eBay, so not a solid investment.

I would never give this up. That person must not be in the best financial situation
