While you could get a gallon of milk in a carton, it would be more reasonable to assume anon is drinking from a smaller carton — maybe even one of those single serving cartons like the ones from school lunches. Though, I guess it would be much weirder to be walking around while drinking a gallon of milk, so maybe you’re right.
