I don't get why there was positive buzz around Sonic Frontiers. It's not a good game

I bought Sonic Frontiers yesterday. I don’t know why, I thought it seemed interesting. Anyways I’m two hours in and so far I think it kinda sucks. It’s so unpolished and feels very cheap.
