Anybody else in love with the base-control gameplay loop of the middle Far Cry games?
specifically talking about 3, 4, 5, and the “expansion” games like Blood Dragon and New Dawn. And I still haven’t played Far Cry 6 so I can’t comment on that....

And just, wow. I’m a bit disappointed they tried to cop out Ramza and Alma’s death, because it feels like that cheapens the whole thing, but it’s easy enough to head canon....
The game comes out today, but if you were a sucker like me and paid for the deluxe version, it’s been playable for a few days now. I have to say, I really love this game!...

I’m looking to getting back into VR gaming. However, with my switch to Linux, that has made things a little more complicated. I don’t own a Valve Index (although I’ve heard that there are some issues with the Index on Linux), I own a Rift CV1. As far as I’m aware, the Oculus Rift is pretty much completely incompatible...
Okay so I have never been into the Souls games. The whole “brutally difficult” thing never appealed to me, and watching my friends play was enough to turn me off....
I am not a professional gamer nor do I have much time to invest into a game in one stretch. However I do enjoy the cumulative progress I make with each session I have with the games, specifically progress of acquiring loot, money, powers or in-game materials. Are there any games that try to match my interests?...
Back in the good old days of gaming of 2011, back when BioWare was blowing people’s minds with the Mass Effect trilogy, they had community forums. A place where fans of Dragon Age and Mass Effect could gather and speculate about what happens next. Or, pester the developers for whatever romance they believed should be in the...
In my quest to find awesome games that aren’t well known, I came across StarSector a couple of weeks ago and I can’t put it down. It is the same addition that I had with Factorio and Balatro in recent times....
Super Mario Maker 1 is a level creation game / tool released by Nintendo for the Wii U in 2015. It’s been bought over 7.5 million times, and has had thousands upon thousands of levels created....
I’m looking for a small 7” or 8” computer monitor to keep on my desk to display Discord and other things without taking up real estate on my main monitor. Ideally something cheap and therefore not a touchscreen. There’s tons of options online but I’d like to get some recommendations from people who have a similar...
I know this is a very specific question, but does anyone know anything like this?...

I really like card games like this game, but most other alternatives I could find are pay to win. Are there any similar games like Marvel:Midnight Suns?
I’ve been thinking about a taxonomy of Roguelikes that should help us speak more clearly about this genre - or group of genres - that we love. I’d rather do this than just call things “roguelites”, which basically doesn’t mean anything. So here we go!...
If you're not familiar with Stray, it's a PS4/PS5 game where you play as a cat. It's a very short game; the main story can be beaten in an afternoon. However, it's available on PS+ (although going away soon), and can be purchased outright for
What does your battlestation look like? PS4/5, XBox, PC or some oddball Chinese retro handheld?
So, I’m going to get a retroid pocket 4 pro. Its the best option I found. What are some (fdroid) games I can look into? I plan of stuffing it with ROMs too....
Been playing mostly Marvel Snap and Match 3....
PC. We played through all of the 3+ player ones around a year or two ago in chronological order and it was stupid fun, what we liked about it and are hoping to find elsewhere is it being a shooter with an emphasis on movement and it’s physics sandbox (AKA CHAOS) while still having at least 3 full campaigns to play through in a...

In the last few days, I played a lot of the older Tom Clancy Games. One thing I noticed, that they all gone for a more tactical approach, without compromising on the accessibility. You can play it, come back days later and still be decent in it. In today’s gaming world, there is a plethora of options of tactical shooter to...
