What are good games to meet new people?
I feel like a good chunk of multiplayer games these days are either extremely toxic by design or don’t put a whole lot of emphasize on actually playing together....

There will be spoilers for the game and the DLC in my text and the comments...
The other thread about favorite mechanics is great, so let’s also do the opposite: what are some of your most hated mechanics?
Hello! I hope I am not off topic, this is literally my first day here (ok, maybe I should wait and know the community a bit better but I 'll try to be slightly bolder…if it’s not ok just let me know). I understand that by choice there are no super focused communities to avoid an excessive fragmentation. So I wonder: is this...
More specifically Genshin or Honkai star rail, I haven’t tried the others they don’t seem interesting.
What game mechanics do you enjoy or that surprised you when playing a game? I recently started playing Tunic and I love building out the “manual” for the game and getting hints on how to play.
I was thinking of setting up a server if there is interest. I’m open to mod suggestions as well.
Never played past an hour or so. I’m gonna give it a good try to get into it....
Hello everyone! I really want to get into the jrpg genre but I have no idea which game would be good for a beginner. I have played persona 5 and I really enjoyed it. Any recommendations would be really appreciated!
I should probably go to bed at this point. I typed up a short story of my arduous attempts at defending an outpost in the STALKER modpack GAMMA and how my game crashed when I turned in the quest. Sent off that post and woe-is-me, the entire text didn’t get submitted and I didn’t have it saved in copy-paste. It’s just so...
I know most of the Bethesda RPGs have massive mod support, and there’s games like Minecraft that have more mods than anyone can imagine. I would consider those games pretty playable in their vanilla states. Would you say there are any games that were “saved” by modding? Or that are still kept alive by thriving modding...
I’ll keep this spoiler free....
spoilerPersona 3 Remake and Persona 5 Tactics...
I have had my Steam Deck for a bit of time. While most games I am able to control fine I find myself slightly struggle with FPS games on it. With a regular controller I do fine but the spacing of the joystick on the SD tend to tire my hands out fairly quickly....
Wondering if there are any good games out there which play like the original Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon games. Games where tactics are completely necessary to survive, and one shot will kill you....
AAA games are just getting stale for me and I’m looking to mix it up a bit. I really don’t have a specific genre I gravitate toward or steer away from. I like trying new stuff and I’m happy to consider anything you enjoy playing!
The only EO game I’ve played was IV on the 3DS. I bought it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I was looking forward to this new collection but the price is kind of putting me off so I might just get one instead....
Daily, I play Wordle and 7 Little Words when I first get up, but I was wondering what other types of quick games like that that people play regularly.
Summer Games Fest will probably be the event this faux-E3 season. What are you expecting/hoping to see tomorrow?...
I was thinking about a few games where I have broken the tone or balance. Wondering what other people have done similar?...
I was told that Jedi Survivor wasn’t great on PC. Has it improved since its release? If I buy it now, can I play it without issues?
I really really enjoyed the gameplay loop in Half Life 2 where you have a vehicle and traverse the map in a linear way. You travel, stop, solve puzzles, fight and again travel (and get upgrades along the way)....
