Husband loves to make sushi for dinner for special occasions
I wass lucky enough to find some morels while walking the dog today, so I made pasta with morels and wild garlic and a cocktail made with homemade elder syrup.
Why is it a steak bomb and not a cheesesteak?...
Rice, burger patty, over medium egg (my preference), mushroom gravy, crispy onion straws and micro greens.

The dumplings didn’t turn out as pretty as I like but for a first attempt I’m very happy. They just didn’t want to release from the pan.
I was never big on photographing my food but I found this one particularly pretty. It was over a decade ago, and I don’t remember what restaurant it was. Somewhere in NYC.
The prime rib was roasted at 200° F to 123° internal temperature and then reverse seared....
I knew all these pictures of food would come in handy one day.
Near my work is a fab little joint. I come on Wednesday evenings a minimum of once per month. Fish is great quality and nice size cuts.
