Can't follow my own Pixelfed account on Mastodon

I am trying to follow my own Pixelfed account on Mastodon, but even though I search for, find, and follow my Pixelfed account, none of my Pixelfed posts appear in my Mastodon timeline. I am unsure if the problem lies with Pixelfed, Mastodon or both. Anyone else have a similar experience? I am @5teverin0, and @5teverin0. Thanks.
