There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.

Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

There is also Fedilab (it’s availabe on F-Droid). It combines all your Fediverse accounts and presents you feeds for each of them that you can switch to. Although - the pixelfed feed has a bug at the moment resulting in crashes which is already fixed but not yet released - just be warned.

and like the other person has mentioned, Mastodon clients support Pixelfed accounts as well. Fedilab even offers an optional image-centric layout.

There is a proprietary beta App, & some third party apps, that work with Pixelfed… Also Megalodon & Moshidon (mastodon aps) seem to work quite well with Pixelfed.
