Exactly. Plenty of Lemmy apps don’t. I think people are using Lemmy wrong. I keep meaning to make a long post explaining how people should use the place. It’s like early Reddit where individual communities don’t need to exist - you can post in more generic subs.

E.g. instead of asking why Germans have no sense of humour in an “AskGermany” sub I asked it in the generic AskLemmy.
