I started reading this a few years back and I was kind of enjoying it but found that I dropped it and never went back. I think there was something about the writing rather than the plot that wasn’t holding me. It’s something I’ve been thinking about going back to but have always prioritized other books.

I’d be interested to hear from people that have read it to say it’s worth it and pays off.

I finished it, and I think it was ok, but overall skipable.

i really enjoyed it, and i also quite like the ending. like all of Qntm’s works it is written in a quite “confusing” way. Details are omitted for you to figure out and the story is not told in chronological order. although the prime example of cronology being used in Qntm’s work is the book Fine Structure.

I like that particular style of storytelling, and the authors work in general. So i can recommend it, but then again that is also just personal preference.
