Lemmy community that directs users Lemmy communities? (plus 2 other questions)

I actually have three questions, which I am listing in reverse order I thought of them:

  1. Is there a Lemmy community that helps new users find relevant Lemmy communities?
  2. Is there a Lemmy community similar to r/SomebodyMakeThis?
  3. Would it be possible to build a collaborative Genealogy software platform similar to WikiTree or Ancestry, but FOSS and based on the ActivityPub protocol?

This is more of a support question, related to using Lemmy. Please see the sidebar for a list of communities that offer support. Removing under rule #3.

Feel free to make a new topic for your third question.

  1. Maybe !newcommunities fits?
  2. No idea what the sub did, can’t help there.
  3. It would be possible, though I’m not sure what the role of ActivityPub would be there.

There’s !wowthislemmyexists that’s supposed to be just that, but it’s unfortunately not very active.
