To somehow suggest that the sound of अ (ə) becomes आ (ɑː) is ridiculous. It’s not कामला (jaundice, billrubin), it’s कमला (lotus, Goddess Lakshmi). Use an IPA reader to check the sound you’ve provided, versus mine.
