Genuine question. I am an android user who has to use an iPhone for work. One thing really bothers me. When the alarm goes off and I'm in an app, it shows an unobtrusive banner at the top of the

screen. Fair enough, didn’t want to disturb me, I get it. But to turn it off I have to touch the banner and poof, my screen is full of all my alarms.

Is there a way to change this behavior, or to turn the alarm off another way?

Thanks for any help.

Volume down button. Maybe volume up, too?

Swipe down, dont tap.

iOS alarm user. You can swipe down on the alarm banner I thought and usually that just gives you options for how to deal with it without going to the main alarm screen.

Swipe up to dismiss the alarm, or long press on it to get a menu for snooze/dismiss.

Swiping up will snooze the alarm as you’re “dismissing it” if you want to cancel/end the alarm you pull down and click “stop”
