Whenever I search for questions I have about Android system apps, ADB, flashing, etc. I noticed all the search results are really scammy-looking websites with instructions that sound like they were translated from Chinese by an AI....
So, I’m wondering if there is any way to get headphone gain settings working in smartpack kernel manager on a vanilla lineageos install. I know it works with elementalx kernel. If I want this setting do I need to compile a lineageos kernel myself and enable a setting somewhere? Is this feature specific to a patch?

I installed non google keyboard and voiceboard, apps I can use, but each time I turn the device off, I’m prompted to use google’s boards and asked to say something.
I mean the functionality where it guesses what word you are trying to type, after seeing a few letters, or when you type by sliding your finger over the keyboard instead of pecking individual keys. I have all the custom dictionary and self-training stuff shut off on my old Android 7 phone (didn’t want to upload data to Google)...
I don’t like how my friends, family, and work contacts are mixed in to the menu when I press share. I see a random jumble of people from various apps on my device....
So, I’m aware of Syncthing for much of the media, which may help after getting things migrated, but I’m wondering if there may be something more like Clonezilla (or the like) for smartphones to more easily copy over apps & media in bulk....
