I just mentioned this in a comment, but thought it might be helpful for a larger audience. I’m not affiliated with these people, but I would really really like a smaller Android phone. They also seem motivated to try and make something happen.
I’ve been questioning if android is even profitable enough for manufacturers to justify it in the US, like apple has the largest market share in the US and I see that everyday. Nearly every phone I see is an iPhone. The android phones I do see are rarely flagships.
I use Tailscale as my VPN, and it’s always just worked for me. But lately, it keeps hopping out. This is only an issue on my Android phone too. I have set Tailscale to be the ‘always-on-vpn’ in settings, but that doesn’t change anything for me....
After trying different browsers on android I found Privacy Browser to be what I need. It have encrypted backups,Domain settings,jsless by default,Deleting all site data and Most usable UI. Only issue is It is based on webview and I am using system default webview as my device is nonrooted so how secure is to go this way?
