Android still doesn’t handle USB audio very well. USB DAC dongles have their own volume settings, however Android doesn’t ever change this. This means that if a dongle has a preset volume level that is relatively low, android can never go above this....

I upgraded the head unit in my car recently. The head unit itself runs Android, and it supports Android Auto. So far, I’ve been using Android Auto via bluetooth, and it works great. I have no complaints....

I don’t have a google account and don’t want one and really prefer to not upload my contacts to someone else’s server as a matter of principle. I have a personal nextcloud server so could use that if it helps, but it’s not clear that it does....

I can access my employer’s local network if I authenticate with a 2fa. They suggest proprietary software, but aegis authenticator (found in fdroid) works fine....

I’m using the official Github app and it keeps logging me out randomly and it’s really annoying. Is there any good android app for Github.
