I don’t like how my friends, family, and work contacts are mixed in to the menu when I press share. I see a random jumble of people from various apps on my device....

So, I’m wondering if there is any way to get headphone gain settings working in smartpack kernel manager on a vanilla lineageos install. I know it works with elementalx kernel. If I want this setting do I need to compile a lineageos kernel myself and enable a setting somewhere? Is this feature specific to a patch?

I basically want to talk and send messages and pictures, video call is not really that important....

desktop shows all available versions, including the newest ones. This is not always the case when I load the f-droid app on my phone. If I check the f-droid website, results are the same as using the desktop.

Phone is Moto G Stylus with Android 13. Whenever I launch the built in photos app, it now gives me a nag screen to download a version upgrade. When I click “upgrade”, nothing happens. It’s conceivable that I have network permission disabled for the app. I better check....

I’m going to repurpose my S21 since I just got a new phone that could be rooted and have the boot loader unlocked. However, I’ve told that the U.S variant of the S21 (Snapdragon 888) can’t be rooted and have the boot loader unlocked. Is this true and I’m simply chasing a pipedream? Or can it actually be done?
