Just call your credit card company and say that you do not authorize any further transactions with them, and any that are attempted are illegitimate.

That’s what creditors are literally for.

Did you subscribe through Apple’s app store or the Google play store? If you did I think you need to cancel it through the subscription pages of those apps.

Honestly I don’t remember, but its a good guess. I only have access to Android, and the Reddit subscription is not there. Also checked Paypal, but nothing there either. Still i’d expect the reddit profile to be of more help about this. I’ve had to make a support ticket to ask them, but I don’t even know when or where I’ll get an answer from them

Curious. I'm reasonably sure the option should be either in the settings right where you took that screen shot or under the subscriptions section in the Google Play app store.

Any chance you've got multiple Google accounts?

When you are charged for premium, what does the charge show as on your account? Cause when I pay for a subscription through Apple, it is Apple that charges my bank and my receipt tells me why. I would imagine it would be the same with other providers so knowing who is charging your bank account will tell you where the charge is coming from

Does anyone know why my magazines on Kbin is so delayed compared to visiting the Lemmy thread itself?

It takes a while for a post (and subsequent comments) to propagate across different instance servers.

As I recall if you login through full browser, click your user name and there should be a dedicated premium item in the menu. On there is where the cancel option was for me. Which is now gone because I've already cancelled. They just seem to want to give it to me for free.

I have a very weird other problem. I cancelled mine at the start of June after the API information came about. My last day was June 16th and I have a cancellation message to attest to that.

Except it now says July 16th is my last day and they didn't take the money and on the premium option it offers the subscription to me. So I am unsubscribed but, have free premium I don't even want.

You know it might be the same with me! I believe I already had this canceled months ago. I don’t notice them taking any money, but my account still says premium. The weird thing is, that I use Joey for Reddit to browse reddit and that still works!

Maybe the whole API thing was a joke?

In that case, click the notification icon, and then messages at the top right of that it should open your messages up and you should have one from /u/reddit telling you that your subscription was cancelled. Do what I did, and screenshot it. Because I don't trust them at all any more :P
