Author pointed at Canada as a success story of reversing the trend. Offered an example of how immigrants, especially those who could start businesses or were educated could help with the demographic issue without impacting the economy.

I mean, China is notorious for its foreign policy being primarily based on realpolitik rather than ideological allegiance, so the adjective “communist” before China is irrelevant to who they will sell weapons to.
Because modern China is not socialist and its leadership has no intention of moving in that direction (indeed, they are moving in the opposite direction, including under Xi).
Seems like a bit of a stretch if you’re having trouble developing a normal hypersonic missle. Presumably, you’d need to make something faster and more agile.
