Sigh… the US has created a monster.

But ok, no one cares about cyber-intel attacks unless it’s Russia or China (or anyone the US deems to be an enemy)

How does one ‘smuggle’ fuel?

Must be nice being rich and only spending money to make yourself richer.

What a scumbag.

raltoid ,

You need to work on your trolling.

If you actually want people to get upset at you, and keep replying you have to make the contratian or low-brow opinions believable. You also need to start deleting your comments, since a single glance at past comment history reveals you as a troll instantly.

dudebro ,

Ok bud. Just because I say things you don’t like doesn’t mean I’m trolling.

You seriously need to grow up with that nonsense.

raltoid ,

So you can do it when you try.

dudebro ,

Gonna have to block you now. Good bye.

The weird part is that these imbeciles don’t seem to realize that they’re gonna die with the rest of us. All their wealth and power comes from having a civilization that they’re destroying. These people are the human equivalent of cancer.

SummerIsTooWarm ,

Sadly some of these fucks buy themselves bunkers to delay their demise.

redtea ,

That might be the funniest part. These people don’t know how to tie their own shoelaces. They can go into their bunker but the forces keeping all the rest of us as compliant little worker bees won’t last. It will only be a matter of time before the help turn on the bunker owners and without the state to protect them, it’s game over. The only tragedy is that whoever is conning them into buying bunkers has convinced them that they don’t need to worry about the consequences of their actions. If they ever come to need the bunkers I hope I live long enough to see the shock on their faces.

I like to compare AI language model training to the early beginnings of music sampling in hip-hop. If they can prove that their works we’re used w/o approval I’m guessing the same result will occur.

I mean… They have to do something with it. But this is also the issue environment activists have with nuclear energy. We don’t have a good way or dealing with the byproducts yet. If we didn’t it could be a great “green” energy until we develop something better.

It seems wrong to mention that profits are down in the same headline that says that two are dead.

Kbobabob ,

No, no. They are saying supply will be impacted, be prepared to pay more.

nogooduser ,

Of course. Silly of me to assume that they’d take the loss of profits on the chin.

zabil , to technology in Suspended Twitter account tracking Elon Musk's jet moves to Threads

If there is anything that’s good about threads; it’s what it’s doing to Musk and Twitter.

Having said that it’s not a place I’m ever planning on venturing into.

Weezard ,

Agreed, Threads doesn’t even need to be federated either really, it’s just an excuse, I like that they are sticking it to Musk, that nob head needs his comeuppance.

Steeve ,

An excuse for what? This is very ominously vague lol

Weezard ,

Haha, yeah I guess when I read it back it does sound like that m, what I meant was the Zuck wants threads federated to scrape data, get more information on people etc, which is just plain shitty, I’m a recent Fediverse joiner, and seeing it being targeted already to me does not being happy feelings :)

It would be nice to have some info on how radioactive it is. I’m assuming it’s a whole load of water that is probably less radioactive than a banana or something?

nexusband ,
@nexusband@lemmy.world avatar

It’s mostly tritium anyways. It’s got a half life of 12 years. I’m not entirely sure if some reactions are still going on, but tritium is generally only created when a nuclear reaction is active. So it already has been at least 10 years.
