How do you like this model? I love handheld consoles. I have a Steam Deck but for traveling I’d like to get something way lighter and smaller to just toss in my bag. Tempted to dip for one of these soon.
I suppose it is a preference of metal or plastic and vertical or horizontal form factor. There is also joystick and D-Pad placement. Since I almost never use the joysticks for retro gaming I prefer the D-pad and buttons to be on the top. I also prefer the metal casing to the plastic, but it is slightly heavier.
I wouldn’t hate an Octopath Traveler style remake, but it would have to be really well done. It definitely doesn’t need to exist though as it is fine as is.
The ones that I liked the most so far are wefwef, but I still can’t save posts and block user/communities. The other is connect because there’s a easy enough toggle hide read in the settings, although for some reason it’s not linked with the lemmy profile setting to hide read, but it works the same.
Speaking as someone who never really plugged into Twitter much in the first place: the notion that tweets have any sort of real value and that putting caps on consuming them is a meaningful control measure is the funniest fucking thing. Like no doubt he I actually trying to ruin it, that’s happening. But this is clearly supposed to elicit some kind of reaction, and I just can’t imagine feeling like, “oh, no, this only 600?” 600 of what? Brainfarts? Serious ideas that, if they were written by serious people would be in a long form medium? It’s like saying “you can go to the grocery store but you can only buy 60 chew toys for your dog per day”. Like, okay, I wasn’t going to do that anyway and I think it’s funny that you thought I was going to, or that I’d care about this new limitation.
