The default is an enshittified feed that shows you algorithm-chosen content. To see the old version of facebook, tap the menu in the upper right corner, then select feeds, then select friends.
I’ve been going there less and less lately. They started putting ads in the notifications section as well.

I believe it should go without saying, but they only made the problem way worse and their phone was fucked beyond any possibility of repair.
Industrial lathe, but a crack is merely aesthetic “damage”. It’s like taking a power drill and scratching the casing of a 3310 and than saying “look at me! I destroyed the 3310. Bow for my power, peasants”. The 3310 didn’t even register the crack.
A 3310’s screen was nothing like those fragile touch sensitive screens we have now.
Well yes of course. I did say “INDUSTRIAL lathe”. Those things are just as destructive as 3310’s are indestructible. Even when you turn them off, it takes a good couple minutes before they’re not deadly anymore. The torque is over 9000! Those things can crush diamonds without breaking a sweat.
LOL, I know, I was trained to use an old-school industrial lathe and milling machine in high school back around the year 2000.

I don’t miss smoking, because it was so costly and I felt and smelled terrible. But I do miss the effortless social interactions it led to all the time.
I quit and it never appeals to me anymore. Unfortunately, that’s because I switched to vaping and it worked way too well, which was the entire point (on their part). Quitting vaping will be a bitch.
I’m generally against “sin taxes” but I have to admit that the $2 bump per pack after I quit smoking made it easier to not look back. It’s now about $5 more (I think, I haven’t actually looked for a while.)

It’s been ads, and old uncle facebook fox news memes for a while. Lately they’ve been filling it with AI pictures and bot farmed memes. Gotta admit the memes have gotten slightly better, or at least slightly more targeted as of late.
