There were advantages, like not aching all the time, not being tied down by one thing or another or having more free time. But generally, yeah, it sucked. No money, no confidence, no clue, no direction, no skill, etc…
If you’re trying to not exist in the eyes of the government, why use the systems that are in place by the government? Shouldn’t this person be hiding in a cargo hold to travel outside of the country? If you’re evading the government, you gotta go all in.
sovcits are caught in the trap of magical thinking, if they just perform the correct rituals and cite the correct incantations they will somehow be able to make happen whatever is convenient to them.
It’s way easier to believe those formations were trees than it is to accept that something cut them down. (natural tree stumps are rarely flat on the top)

I’m not sure any judge would want to deal with someone who doesn’t understand the difference between individual and commercial. All of these I’ve seen deal with fighting their ability to drive a vehicle or child-support, so if it’s related to that the judge wasn’t getting puckered. He was getting ready to beat you with a mallet.
