We lost our last lady, Muse, to cancer early in the year and we weren’t sure if we could adopt again so soon. However we are so glad we eventually decided to go to the shelter and happened to meet Arcadia.
We spoke about it and in the end decided when it’s time to adopt again it’s never about trying to replace your lost one, it’s about giving another cat the opportunity to have a home.
Looks like it’s a species of meadowhawk, this one is called either a red-veined darter or a nomad (Sympetrum fonscolombii). Great pic! Dragonflies are a lot of fun and a great challenge to photograph.
This is the only thing I have actually ever used mine for and it was still worth the money. Everything else I would cook in it ends up in a slower cooker or a pressure cooker.
TalkLittle is on Tildes, but thats invite only ATM.
I really, really hope that he can find the time to make LiF, or KbiniF, or some other fediverse browsing app because man was RiF perfect (for me at least) in every way.
True, other apps may have been great as well but RIF was so good I never explored other options. Perfect for me, or close to perfect that I never went anywhere else.
Yeah 100%. I was just telling my friend that RIF was perfect in everyway, and they threw it away. I then explained to him it’s like using a particular version of Photoshop for a decade, then one day you walk into the office and it’s all gone - now time to use Corel Draw instead
It was. The Apollo dev, Christian, informed everyone on Mastodon that Reddit was a bitter child (my words) til the end and revoked the keys for Apollo and most other big third party apps (aka the competition) many hours before the developers were going to revoke them themselves.
Reddit thoroughly burned the bridge and pissed on the ashes as far as I’m concerned. Decades of use—gone. Now I wouldn’t be caught dead on Reddit for any reason, just like Facebook, purely out of spite.
