Greetings, fellow vacuum enthusiasts and members of r/WellThatSucks! Today, we have an incredible tale to share with you, one that will shed light on the origins of our subreddit and the reason behind our new rule changes. So gather 'round and prepare to embark on a whimsical journey through the story of Mr. Wells.
The Legend of Mr. Wells, the Vacuum Whisperer
Picture this: in a small, picturesque town named Suckville, nestled deep in the heart of a state called Cleanylvania, there lived a man named Mr. Wells. Now, Mr. Wells was no ordinary citizen. He had a knack for selling vacuum cleaners like no one else in the land.
With his charisma, knowledge, and passion for suction power, Mr. Wells was a force to be reckoned with in the vacuum cleaner industry. He could convince even the most skeptical customers that they absolutely needed the latest model of vacuum cleaner to keep their homes pristine. But little did he know that his life was about to take a fateful turn.
The Birth of "Well, That Sucks!"
One fateful day, as Mr. Wells was demonstrating a cutting-edge vacuum cleaner to a potential customer, disaster struck. The vacuum malfunctioned, spewing dust and debris all over the room. Mr. Wells, with a wry smile on his face, muttered the now-legendary phrase, "Well, that sucks!" Little did he realize that this seemingly mundane moment would change his life forever.
Inspired by this comedic mishap, Mr. Wells set out on a quest to create a community where people could share their own vacuum cleaner woes and mishaps. Thus, the subreddit r/WellThatSucks was born. It became a safe haven for people to commiserate, laugh, and find solace in the shared struggles of dealing with vacuum cleaners.

I wish some of these subs would stand their ground and make the admin replace them. That would cause the admin seven bigger headaches down the line, because a lot of the mods they impose would likely not be as good, not be as committed, and would be less strict in moderation, leading to a big pain for advertisers who suddenly would see lots of content next to their ads that is very not good.
Doing absolutely nothing meaningful about inflation is why our next president is going to be an overt and unapologetic fascist. (Granted, they’ll come up with a better name for it.) The foreclosure crisis and Obama’s failure to address it properly is what got Trump elected the first go-around.
The recession happened in 07/08 under Bush. Obama didn’t take office until January 2009. Trump won because these two private parties control everything about our election process and one of them put up a candidate that almost nobody liked to the point that a failed businessman and reality TV star was somehow more appealing.
It doesn’t matter when the recession started. When you don’t do something about a preexisting problem, it becomes your policy.
Millions of people lost their homes when Obama was president, and Democrats were somehow shocked that people who lost their homes wouldn’t vote for someone campaigning on continuing Obama’s policies. (Policies that included criminalizing the poor and demonizing Occupy.)
Yes, they got the original voice of Bender back. John DiMaggio rightly felt they were lowballing him with their offer, and held out for a better one, which he apparently was able to snag.
He didn't get a raise, although him and the rest of the VA crew probably should have. He did say he was happy to ignite some discussion about it, even if he didn't get the pay bump.
I'm sad he didn't get it, but happy he's playing Bender. A different VA per episode would have been interesting, I admit, but I would prefer John in the role 10 out of 10 times.
Does anyone else think it just doesn’t hit the same when it’s not 4:3 and slightly blurry? Don’t get me wrong I love the show, and new content will probably be good, just curious if others feel the same about the aesthetic hah
Really hoping amitheasshole becomes a place where people post a picture of assholes and you have to decide if that is a picture of their asshole or someone else’s asshole.
