I once tried to get a conspiracy theory going that Flat Earth was a fake conspiracy started by the government to cover up the real conspiracy - that the moon is flat. That’s why we only ever see one side of it and why we were able to land on it. It didn’t take lol.
All these jokes about naming variables and yet no serious suggestions that if you have a turtle2, what you really need is a turtle array. I like to block out all the memory I’ll need for the whole program up front, put it all in one big array, and then I can use clean, easy to remember numbers for all my variables!
I just ordered my first TV ever, and its a smart TV of course. My first choice would be to not connect it to the internet, but my wife wouldn’t like that. So i think ill just put it on its own network and block as many domains that it uses to phone home with as i can, without breaking functionality.

My supervisor doesn’t know how to maintain what I build, despite me attempting to show her. At this point, we openly pity each other, her because I have no desire to do more than what my job entails, take the paycheck, and leave to go live my life, and I because she proudly has no life to go home to because she spends 12 hours a day plus here acting like Jesus on the cross for the greedy, indifferent owner.
I think that there’s all sort of stuff on writefreely like really wide spread; some short novels, some IT-news, lots of stuff foreign languages, christian sermons and so forth so I wouldn’t hesitate to post there maybe check that, out whether there’s any suitable community at writefreely.org/instances or a general purpose one
They are good distros for beginners. But over time some people switch to Arch-based systems or NixOS. Because of HUGE software list that you can install without much hassle, you don’t have to add 3-rd party repositories or PPAs or figure out how to install .tar.gz package in your system or how to compile from source. You just type one command to install something hard to obtain in other distros.
Not just the US, though Nazi soldiers intentionally tried to end up as US POWs rather than anything else, and avoided being Soviet POWs rather than anything else.
