I’ll be the oddman out and suggest paying the one-time $20 registration fee for iptorrents.com
It’s simple, quick and easy. No need to worry about getting invited/waiting for open signups. Their retention and library is huge. Speeds are also wonderful as a lot of people are seeding from seedboxes… I’m on most cabal/top private trackers and I still use it more than anything. Been using private trackers for 6-7 years now.
It’s got everything you would ever need as it’s a “general tracker” so they have games, movies,tv,software etc. If you don’t want to pay then checkout: opentrackers.org for trackers that are having public signups.
unihertz jelly 2. unihertz also some other small phones. also has a headphone jack, fm radio, wrist strap, customizable LED, programmable hardware button.
The Grand Nagus sexually assaulting women, especially Kira, is never actually fully addressed.
Yeah, that was a weird one. In DS9’s pilot Quark touches Kira and she threatens him (“if you don’t take your hands off my hips you’ll never be able to touch anything with them again” or something like that) but when the Nagus does it in season 2 it’s played for comedic effect. That irked me too when I rewatched the episode recently.
It’s really socially acceptable and even encouraged for moms to make motherhood their whole identity. I personally hate how their own sense of self is lost and they become wrapped up in being martyr for their children. Unless you’re into that, it’s time to say goodbye, while treasuring and respectibn the good times you had with this person in the past. They’re just changed now and gone to a place where you can’t follow.
It’s not just about malware, but more about system stability and avoiding breaking your system by bad updates. Updates are atomic (all or nothing) Ideally if something goes wrong, the update isn’t applied at all. If you manage to boot to a bad config, you can fix it by rebooting in to the previous known good config.
This is immensely valuable for appliance-type devices that aren’t meant to be “administered” by end users, like the Steam-deck, set top boxes, even Android phones. For laptops / desktops I’m sure it has some value for people who want a stable base, with newer flatpak/AppImages for day to day use.
As for how updates and system packages are installed, I can’t answer the specific technologies used, but I believe the principle is that an entirely new/complete filesystem “image” is created / layered on top. Then you reboot to the new image.
Fossil and Mobvid’s TicWatches are normally my go to alternatives, but personally, I haven’t been impressed with their latest offerings. Google and Samsung really do have the best WearOS devices, if that’s what you’re looking for.
That said, I realized recently I wasn’t using most of the features in WearOS. I had a dozen apps and barely used any of them. All I really used it for was notifications, music controls, and as a basic step counter.
Picked up a PineTime and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s basic, but it’s cheap, repairable, and I can flash alternate firmware/oses on it easily with gadgetbridge.
