    I know a number of former Christians who ended up that way after actually reading the Bible.

    I think Penn (from Penn and Teller) tells a story about how that’s when he realized he was an atheist and it was BS.

    Ive read the Bible from start to finish (including Numbers…fml). There are some wise fable-like, sage scriptures that could be valuable life advice. But it’s wildly inconsistent and paints a picture of a fickle, powerless, pathetic God. It becomes very obvious that none of the Bible is “the word of God”.

    After reading it, it’s also obvious that most Christians (American Christians at least) haven’t read it.

    It just doesn’t host the same amount of content that it used to and redirects to a different, similar site, these days.

    Maybe I’m just not in the cool kids club anymore and don’t know how to get into the archives.

    Zlibrary hosts all its data but they run a tor instance as well as ipfs which is distributed hosting

    It’s still around, just redirects US IP addresses. I never bothered with an account though, I just browse their collections and download elsewhere.

    The issue with any attempt to identify generated text is that anything generated could have been written by a human. There’s also the issue with model diversity. Even if a specific model has common patterns that can be identified, there are hundreds of other models that will have different patterns.

    Tried GPTZero with some GPT3.5 text and it was very hit or miss.

    Missed a ton of actual GPT texts.
