High rises aren’t really a problem either. I’d wager that agricultural and pest control practices, automobile traffic, and urban sprawl each individually kill orders of magnitude more birds.
By far the biggest killer of birds are cats that people let out of their homes. They kill for fun and they kill so, so many. People really need to stop letting their cats out.
My high rise flats are a problem for that one dumb pigeon that must have been distracted qy some girl pigeons tits or something because it flew straight into the side and died. None of the otheg pigeons have ever done that they may already be in commited relationships

Google already knows your phone number, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to do that to protect the account from theft, especially after several months of inactivity and without any other means to verify the account ownership.
I understand that Google already has my phone number. That’s not so much of a problem for me. I am trying to limit the amount of personal information that I hand out to websites & services. I believe that companies shouldn’t need my personal phone number to create, maintain or secure my account. If I need security, I’ll install 2FA TOTP. If not, that’s still my decision and I shouldn’t be forced. Especially not in form of having to provide my phone number.
You can believe whatever you like. The companies that disagree have no obligation to service you. Go find services that don't require phone numbers if this is important to you; they do exist.
They are a german server hosting company, you know, the country with some of the strictest copyright laws? For example, a kid at an old school of mine was once fined 800€ for accidentally sharing a song on a school hosted messaging board.
If you do anything with pirated torrenting on their servers, they will know, and will come after your ass. And even sharing pirated content can get you in incredibly hot water, they might not have found out yet, but when they do, good luck.
Hetzner because that’s what I had and have always had a good experience with them, anything else to recommend at the same prices? And that is a reason why I don’t download the content directly on their servers but on my local machine.
The only one in a similar price range that comes to mind is ovhcloud.com, they are a france based company, still not ideal though, as they might require ID.
If money is the biggest factor (which I guess it is), best thing for you to do, might be to move your storage box off of the german servers and onto the finnish servers.
Even in the finish location, if any of the “law” fuckers scourging the open trackers, sends an abuse/dmca to Hetzner, you will have some explaining to do as they will raise it as a ticket and require an explanation as to what happened and what is your course of action to remedy it.

Use vpn that allows port forwarding, or never touch public trackers at all, or both.
