I’m excited to see this as a new standalone wearable in 2030 that probably, as could be billed to the insurance company, will be around $2743 and has a subscription of $85 a month that cannot be part of your deductible.

I have been waiting for this!! The study was interesting in that you could use this to get multiple points from around the whole body and get more diagnostic data this way. Imagine seeing that there is too much blood pressure built up in a specific part of the body which is indicative of some kind of disease or encroachment if a tumor or something.

I’ve looked into getting a continuous monitor a few times because the data could be useful for training optimization, like HIIT and functional lifts, but everything currently available tends to be expensive or clunky. Smaller or more affordable wearables would be quite welcome.

This is really cool!

Right! I saw Anton Petrov already released a video on the topic too, if you dig this then I highly recommend checking his YT channel to watch him break it all down.

I wonder how accurate the image is? It doesn’t really seem accurate, but we may not have a great or even viable comparison here.

Very cool stuff, though!

DeathsEmbrace ,

Accuracy is near impossible when you are so far away. Everything is based on estimations or sophisticated tools that measure from multiple points and then average between but even then they can get hectic. As a matter of fact noone would be surprised if the reality almost didn’t match the measurements once you get next to them.

Bebo OP ,

Estimations and theories keep getting modified as and when we use more advanced techniques for various studies. Just today I was watching a video on youtube (Anton Petrov’s channel) about how the data from JWST is making it necessary for scientists to come up with different theories for the evolution of galaxies. The present accepted theories were supported by data from the Hubble telescope, but the higher resolution data from the JWST is making it clear that the theories may need to be reviewed.
