I was sent to a military academy because I kept getting into trouble as a teen. The brutality with which other kids flexed authority over one another was insane and I wish I’d have sued to get them shut down. One kid got put into a coma right in front of us. I know that’s different from state employees abusing this guy, but I just believe all places like this are hellholes and I’d believe just about any accusation of abuse of power.
