@NatureMC @writing The "starving artisan as a victim of AI" narrative falls on its face as soon as one realizes the claim that AI are "stealing" their work is highly hypocritical. Artisans have always been inspired by the work of other artisans, and in many instances copy each other's works. This is an understood fact amongst plastic artisans. Picasso once said that "good artisans copy, great artisans steal," in reference to this. This is in no shape or form different from what AI does.
