I’m curious and thought the might be able to share some insight. When writing contemporary fiction how do you handle bringing in real life places, companies, stores, sports teams, etc.? @bookstodon

@dickrubin716 @bookstodon I never use real names unless it is something well-known, non-personal (e.g. real name of a street in the city). My works aren't published (yet), so I can't say anything about publishing standards.
