I’m dropping reading Game of Thrones for the 3rd time. I’m trying to cope with that feeling of failure, but I can’t go on. For me, a professor who have to read lots and lots of books a month, it’s inconceivable to invest such a huge amount of time reading a huge fantasy book series that’s not even finished (if will be finished someday). If at least we have an horizon about the ending, ok, but not even that.

@factolvictor @bookstodon I gave up after the second and decided to wait until the series finished. I saw what happened with Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time series…

@factolvictor @bookstodon I never started it in the end because it was so big! Did read the first two GRRm books though.
