@autisticbookclub @actuallyautistic In my experience, it is because many people are too busy and low on spoons. Finding the right times and places to hang out is challenging. In the US, there are fewer "third spaces" available than in the past. Car culture and suburbanization don't help, especially not for those who can't drive.
