I dont think that covid patent thing is true as the one of the UK parliamentary committees investigated and say they found no evidence. Have you a couple of sources?

The problem is the vast billions of extra tons of CO2 that far outscales the surface area available. Obviously we should repopulate the earth with trees, it helps biodiversity and will trap some carbon. But we need multiple ways to attack this.

That’s a fair assessment. I kind of feel the same, he’s conflicted on some subjects, hypocritical on others. We live in a world where money controls tech and advancement so naturally people assume those at the top must know what they’re talking about. Musk kind of proves that’s folly, at least.

I bleedin wish.

In the whole of 2022 I was sick and couldnt get anyone to see me. Managed to get 2 blood tests which gave me nothing. Finally got an appointment last May. Pretty much every GPs is like that now sadly.

I was telling people to try music on spotify and youtube, and then buy it on bandcamp etc. Download a copy. There sometimes comes a time when labels crumble, or streaming sites go bankrupt.

…I tell people to download both the mp3 and the wavefiles from Bandcamp. Sometimes Soundcloud has a download option (depends on the artist). I still buy CDs where I can.

Had some woman full-on grab my male arse in my old job when I was bent over doing a task. My colleague (female) saw it and marched after her letting her know that wasnt acceptable. I remember being on a wilderness weekend many years ago and being told that when you cut the stem on some poisonous shrooms they discolour a sort of blue tint. I’m lucky, I hate the taste and texture of mushrooms.

Yeah there are problems with battery and EV materials and their links to all kinds of nasty things. However, lets not forget how bad other industries have been (even recently) for slavery… the cotton industry, the soft drinks indusrty, even the plastics recycling industry.

And OK, lithium is a problem, but there are other ways to store energy that arent being used. We need to stop expecting a perfect solution to everything and just start using sand batteries, compressed air etc, things where we do already have engineers that can accomplish something.

Who have stolen land, drilled under people’s own land to access their oil, drilled into other countries without permission (eg Russian firms). They’ve also hidden data about environmental damage since the 1960s including CO2 evidence. Worse than tobacco.
