I totally believe that the love of money is the root of all evil.

I do not believe that the first people Adam and Eve had two sons who went forth and populated the world.

I absolutely believe in the value of education and the use of logic.

I do not believe there is an all powerful being judging us. I believe the universe is a great big chemical reaction that does not care and entropy always wins.
But, here on earth, I believe when we do good the world is better and when we do bad the world is worse. I believe at times it is hard to know what "The right thing" is.
And I think religion is one of the worst things human beings invented. And probably did so to enhance their lust for wealth and power.

@cbontenbal @davidesalerno68 @pauld @economics @smithkm @philosophy Everything is physical. Matter and energy, photons and electrons. There is nothing else. You can not survive without air and water no matter howspiritually advanced you think you are.

This does not negate empathy and feelings and the soulfulness of great art. But all those things are physical. Not bestial, physical chemical interactions.
