The results may be rather interesting and perhaps contribute to greater societal awareness of deepfakes, the context in which they are used/when they are used, and perhaps an increase in vigilance against manipulation by deepfakes.

Disproving them can work if they are debunked by dedicated people. Education can work. It’s just foolhardy to try to debunk them if you aren’t some YouTuber who’s dedicated to constantly debating and debunking these type of people. If you constantly educate people on why this stuff is wrong, less people may fall into this stuff in the first place, prevention is a necessary and doable thing.

There’s always the possibility that they’ll do a mix of everything depending on environment, though I’m not sure if there are environments where plastics pipes may potentially degrade faster than copper or vice versa.
