That does sound frustrating. Wish I had some good advice to offer.

Have you tried a different browser? I'm on Firefox, but some sites don't play nice with it and I switch to Chrome for a few minutes...

Kbin does log me out once or twice weekly for no known reason, but I have no difficulties logging in again. You say you've cleared site data — cache and cookie? If you've tried it twice and it hasn't worked, time to open a ticket with the help desk (admins).

We're better than Reddit. Why try to duplicate something worse?

@SamXavia

DougHolland , to RedditMigration in How come there is very little Kbin SEO for individual posts? Also, what are tags/badges?

This seems like a roadblock to people discovering any community here. It removes the Reddit effect, where adding 'Reddit' to a search led to non-ad posts with first-person relevance, and eliminates the easiest way for someone who's not part of the federated universe to find the federated universe.

Counterproductive, seems to me.

DougHolland , to RedditMigration in PSA: while upvoting exists, to get the "move closer to the top" effect that reddit's upvote had, you need to click boost

"Boost" comes across as a bug, not a feature. People should have one vote, not two.
