I was getting tired of the mtp throwing errors half the time, the directories loading two minutes (not exagerating), the copying taking taking hour, so i said screw it and made my own file transferer that uses ADB, which doesnt rely on the slow as MTP. I made it primarily for myself, but since i already made it why not share it...

For me it doesn’t work at all. It keeps losing the phone, unable to find it. I suspect it’s some network rule or something with my custom DNS, but I cannot find specifically what it is.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think that’s a sensible approach. Yes, it’s billionaires offing themselves, sure. But regulations are quite important, in particular in sensible and critical areas like this.

If they also protect some billionaires that’s an unfortunate side effect, but overall these regulations would be very good to have. The rise of venture capitalist attitude outside of IT is only going to get worse, so the sooner we can establish rules against that the better.

They weren’t for off when they showed survival on Mars with just potatoes and vitamine pills. Potstoes are amazing, just not balanced, so add the necessary vitamins and minerals externally and you can survive for a very very long time on “just” potatoes.

Yes and no. If its just got survival, sure. But if someone is eating grazing meat, they’re already in luxury eating territory.

So we have to then consider foods such as “fancy” vegan burger patties and stuff. Which are all crazy expensive, at least over here.

Oh sorry, I meant The Martian, the novel (and/or movie) about someone surviving on Mars. It prominently shows a potato+vitamins diet, and I remember it was one of the bigger questions at the time the movie came out as to whether that would actually work or not. But, turns out, potatoes are really cool.
