Source is BAV Ott.lat.877 f.1r. I think this was originally a flyleaf that just had the title of the work (Bede's Historia Anglorum), but the cruciform thing is puzzling me @medievodons#Medievodons
#otd 998 Bishop Hildebold of Worms died. He was buried in the now destroyed collegiate monastery of St. Cyriakus in Worms-Neuhausen. Johann F. Schannat (18th c.) was still able to view the grave and drew the grave slab. #medievaldeath#medieval@medievodons
