I’ve just finished this very enjoyable, pan-historical garden fantasy (is garden fantasy a genre? It is now!), ‘Threading the Labyrinth’ by Tiffani Angus.
I’m giving away a standalone fantasy/alt-history m/m romance, The Uses of Illicit Art. Artisans have narrow magical powers in this pseudo-Victorian world, and Kit’s underwhelming Art is unlocking any door. Criminal gangs find it useful, though, so he’s hiding out to avoid them. Then bounty hunter Alexander Locke comes for him.
Don’t worry. Kit’s very good at locks 😉
Available at Smashwords free just for today (otherwise via #KoboPlus and #Scribd as well as at the usual retailers) — download it DRM-free and sideload it to any reader.
The Waking of Angantyr by Marie Brennan is out today in the UK. It's historical fantasy set in the Viking era, brutal and a bit heartbreaking, but really good. Here's my review:
NOW AVAILABLE: The House of Ash (print and e-book)
My newest gothic horror novella is now out (woot!). 'The House of Ash' is a standalone vampire fiction book that's set in an AU Victorian England. There's a romantic subplot in the book, but the primary focus is the family matriarch and her efforts at protecting her blind grandson.

THORFINN AND THE WITCH'S CURSE (Forerunner Series Book 1)
10-yr-old Finn is a normal boy in the #Viking Kingdoms of 9th-century England. When a #Witch curse comes alive, a mishap thrusts him into a realm beyond Midgard.
SHE'S THE ONE WHO THINKS TOO MUCH (War Stories of Seven Troublesome Sisters 1)
Do you know what your problem is? Ryalgar knows hers. They've been telling this 13th-century scholar for years. Why not use it to stop invaders from destroying her home?
