PSA: pirating site giving away indie and self published books and asking for "donations". They even have a "mission" statement twisting Gaiman's position against DRM to justify pirating thousands of books

ocean of pdf.com
If your books are on kindle unlimited, amazon can ding YOU if anyone finds them elsewhere, including pirating sites.

Today finished listening to "The Wicked Bargain" by Gabe Cole Novoa and read by Vico Ortiz. It's a good #YoungAdult adventure, a historical #fantasy with #pirates and magic in the Caribbean. The main character is transmasc, and the details around that were skillfully folded into the story (while being just one part of a multi-faceted protagonist). Ortiz's reading was nicely varied. I also enjoyed how Spanish is incorporated into conversations.
Enemy of All Mankind: A True Story of Piracy, Power, and History's First Global Manhunt by Steven Johnson is a fun read so far. The brief history behind the dialect that inspired International Talk Like a Pirate Day (mark your calendar) alone makes it worth picking up. #Books#Bookstodon#FridayReads#AmReading#Pirates#NonFiction#Arrrr@bookstodon
It's #CoverReveal day!!! I've been sitting on this cover for way too long, so I'm going to give it a bit of a party today. 😂 Hopefully the graphic works. Check my profile for blurb and the pre-order link. ❤️
Cover reveal with glittery background and flirty arrows pointing to text that says: Neurodiverse Heroine, The World's Biggest Cinnamon Roll, Who ordered the talking crow?, Peak Slow Burn, Librarian Pirates, and Angels, but make them #BiblicallyAccurate. The cover is the shadows of two people: an extraordinarily tall man on his knees and a woman holding a ship in her hands. They are framed by various objects from the story and a crow.
