Give me your poor, your tired, your book quotes yearning to be free... February 29th edition 😁
I'd prefer quotes from your own work, but it can be from any author or book you'd like to share...
Here's my example:
“Philosophers can be both imaginative in their ignorance and ignorant of their ability to imagine.”
-Attercap Skvosip, survivor
From The Last Philosopher
Death is this unexpectedly sweet and sad character that I want to befriend, take care of, and assure him that everything will be alright and that we all love him.
Death is one of my favourite discworld characters ❤️
So true, Death. There's no cosmic justice, karma, or even any logic behind the “WHY”, even though it might be a bit reassuring to think along those lines.
(quotation from Mort by Terry Pratchett)
Binky's an adorable name for DEATH’s horse. And “Dethe thee Great Levyller Comes To Alle Menne” on a horse called Binky is just hilarious!
(from Mort by Terry Pratchett)
I am with the Devil (Mr Woland) on this. Manuscripts don't burn

And all because he writes down the things I say incorrectly.’" from #themasterandmargarita by #mikhailbulgakov
Oh I totally get that man.... Though I my case I'm too lazy to do calculations in my head... 🤣
"For a moment or two the old man didn’t reply. He was staring at the instruments with the air of one who is trying to convert Fahrenheit to centigrade in his head whilst his house is burning down."
