What an incredible and imaginative nonfiction book ! Solstice focuses on the longest/shortest day on Earth and how it is celebrated around the world. Fourteen fictional children share their cultures and beliefs, focusing on music, dance, food or language. This picture book is truly interesting, and so beautiful !
I was planning to do this tomorrow but I've got to go to the post office, the Polish deli & Aldi in the morning so I'll start now. Are you planning a special meal to celebrate the Solstice?
