I enjoy both this episode and its followup "Ship in a Bottle". Nice job by Daniel Davis who portrayed Moriarty on both episodes (as well as his more recent appearance on Trek).

I"m stepping away for a little while and will try to be back for the next holodeck malfunction episode with VOY.

The episode's cold open had Geordi building a model of the HMS Victory. That ship was the flagship of Admiral Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar.

The Victory was mentioned again in "Best of Both Worlds" by Picard to Guinan.
