Amos is someone I was immediately drawn to in The Expanse. I was attracted, empathetic, and at one point I realized he started to become an analogue for me.
Even the rugged ops / maker / systems engineer part.
But especially the ruined childhood and the anger.
@dtauvdiodr@bookstodon Amos' character, as well as the others, were remarkably well written and fleshed out.
When I read of Holden's mis-steps and realization moments, and fucking up when trying to do the right thing . . . yeah, I feel all that. 💯🙄
