@juergen_hubert@poland@folklore This is quite an interesting tale! It resembles more modern reports of unwelcome paranormal phenomena such as poltergeists. As is common in such stories, the mysterious events begin rather quietly — mislaid household objects and whatnot — so that one can imagine some ordinary, non-weird explanation. For a while. And from there it spirals.

I adore the concept of tsukumogami (付喪神). If an object has been used for 100 years, it gains self-awareness.
